Reporting to the CEO, the internal sales manager will be responsible for ensuring the good performance of his department as well as developing relationships of trust with his customers.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Supervise a team of inside sales representatives (+/-5);
  • Support the Sales director in the definition and execution of development initiatives and help establish goals and objectives.
  • Provide advice to the inside sales team, assign tasks, manage workload and priorities.
  • Resource loading and capacity planning on a weekly basis;
  • Assist in the implementation of the strategic directives set out by management;
  • Manage strategic relationships with suppliers, able to negotiate and act strategically;
  • Support new supplier development initiatives;
  • Train new employees or provide refresher training as required to facilitate the learning of our products;
  • Help resolve execution or billing issues;
  • Preparation, support and supervision of proposal, presentations and follow up on orders;
  • Provide high quality service to customers, support them and advise the customer throughout the sales process.

Qualifications

  • 4-7 years in a similar role;
  • Technical training in mechanics or electricity (asset);
  • Experience in team management in a similar field;
  • Demonstrated positive relationships with internal/external customers;
  • Demonstrated problem solving and innovative thinking; Knowledge of market trends and best practices;
  • Customer satisfaction, action and results oriented ;
  • Develop and maintain a business network using appropriate means to generate sales;
  • Extensive professional network and industry contacts an asset;
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Outlook, Excel, Teams and Word ;
  • Have the ability to write emails, letters and sales documents in a professional manner ; Ability to prioritize tasks and develop a plan of action;
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure;
  • Well structured, rigorous, consistent, motivated and dynamic;
  • Bilingual - French and English (oral and written)

Work conditions

  • Permanent position
  • Variable salary depending on experience: $80,000 - $90,000 + bonus to be discussed;

  • Closed (paid leave) during the Christmas period
  • Work schedule : 37.5 hours, 5 days a week (Quarter days)
