Our client is a well-established manufacturing company for several years in the industrial sector with more than three production sites across Canada. We are currently looking for a Human Resources Advisor to fill an important position within the organization.


Job description

Reporting to the Human Resources Director, the Human Resources Advisor will be at the heart of the company's establishment activities and will be called upon to deploy all initiatives related to the creation of an engaging employee experience. You will participate in the deployment and success of various group projects and programs aimed at changing their culture.


Tasks and Responsibilities

• Support the full life cycle of employees, from integration to end of employment (recruitment and identification of talent, retention, training, attendance at work, labor relations, disability files, benefits, etc.) .), in order to create a memorable experience

• Advise and equip managers on best practices in talent management

• Support the development and implementation of initiatives promoting a human employee experience in line with organizational priorities

o Develop and implement a welcome and integration program

o Create and implement employer brand strategies (Ex: organizational survey, visibility on social media, etc.) o Implement a talent development program (mapping of skills and career paths, training, etc.) 

• Develop and implement multi-site internal communication strategies

• Lead employee celebrations, awards and recognition initiatives

• Harmonize HR practices, policies and programs to create alignment between sites

• Administer and deploy technologies and solutions that support HR best practices

• Contribute to spreading the organizational culture and the alignment of values in a multi-site context.

Qualifications

• Relevant university education

• Min. 2-5 years of experience, preferably in a unionized manufacturing environment

• Member of the Ordre des CRHA, an asset

• Excellent ability and interest in using new technologies and mastery of the Microsoft Office suite

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, bilingualism and ability to adapt to various audiences

• Strong interest in collaboration, empathy, open-mindedness, flexibility and adaptability

• Proven ability to deliver high quality results with rigor and attention to detail, analytical skills and judgment

• Very high level of integrity and discretion

• Ambassador of change

• Flexibility schedule to cover all shifts

• Ability to travel in Canada and/or the United States (occasional)

Work conditions

• Permanent position, full time;

• Salary between $65,000 and $85,000, depending on experience;

• Remote work 1 to 2 days/week

• Full insurance, paid 100%;

• Group RRSP

• Occasional trips to the Saint-Cécile-De-Milton plant
