Job description

Under the supervision of the Chief Strategy Officer, the Senior Marketing Manager is responsible for managing the organization’s marketing team and overall marketing initiatives and strategies. The Senior Marketing Manager collaborates with a variety of teams within and outside the organization to enable the Sales Team, increase lead generation and strengthen the company’s brand recognition across multiple channels. This role is both at a strategic and operational levels.


Tasks and Responsibilities

·       Manage all marketing initiatives and inbound campaigns in line with corporate objectives and defined key performance indicators to promote the organization’s products and services, strengthen its brand recognition and generate marketing qualified leads;

·       Lead the Marketing team, assess performance and ensure alignment within the team;

·       Lead marketing campaigns with a variety of internal teams, such as R&D, Product Management, Sales and Executive Management to enable alignment and unified messaging;

·       Oversee all international corporate events (physical and online), prepare event budgets and project plans, oversee event promotion and communications, manage speaker relations;

·       Oversee overall brand identity, conduct brand reviews and manage all (re)branding efforts to ensure brand compliance with the company;

·       Manage all documentation and content, including the company’s website (company introduction material, sales supporting document, etc.);

·       Monitor and track performance of overall marketing campaign ROI, report on results to management and company wide, provide recommendations for effective marketing campaigns;

·       In collaboration with the company, manage all press, public relations and media initiatives, develop content for newspapers, magazines, press releases and newsletters, handle relations and prepare submissions for with research institutions;

·       Oversee and coordinate the creative development of print and online promotional materials, website/blog content and advertisements in multiple languages;

·       Manage relationships with partner organizations to align strategic marketing initiatives and enhance cross-selling efforts (events, webinars, marketing collateral, blog integration);

·       Work closely with a variety of external stakeholders to complement internal marketing capacities, such as graphic designers, translation and PR agencies, video producers and more.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in marketing, computer science, business, or related field
  • 5+ years in role related to cybersecurity with experience in software, IT or MSP related business; experience in sales or marketing/product management
  • Familiarity with marketing automation tools, preferably HubSpot
  • Professional marketing certifications considered an asset (HubSpot, MarketingProfs University, Google Analytics/Ads)
  • Experience in managing a team
  • Experience in the IT/information security industry considered a strong asset
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English and French (additional languages are an asset)
  • Excellent competencies in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
  • Cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, GICSP, GIAC, CISM, CEH – an asset
  • Sound knowledge of today’s most effective marketing strategies, including inbound marketing, content marketing, digital marketing etc.
