Job description

The Business Development Manager plays a central role in the sustainability of the company. The incumbent will be responsible for achieving sales objectives by developing new opportunities, optimizing sales of existing customers and consolidating customer relationships as well as new partnerships.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Generate and close sales; • Generate sales opportunities;

• Qualify and follow up on sales opportunities generated by marketing activities;

• Participate in various marketing activities (symposiums, conferences, trade shows, etc.);

• Be ready and available to travel to different marketing and/or representation activities;

• Maintain the CRM (hubspot) daily by listing all sales activities carried out;

• In collaboration with engineering, produce sales proposals and submissions;

• Work in coordination with marketing to increase the volume and quality of opportunities;

• Make sales forecasts;

• Any other necessary tasks


• Have adequate training or equivalent experience;

• Have 3 years of experience in the field of industrial equipment sales;

• Versatile, knowledge of the CRM system (Hubspot) and public calls for tender sites (e.g. SEAO, MERX, TED, etc.) is a major asset;

• Have a sense of organization;

• Autonomous and with a good sense of initiative

• Have the environment at heart and be passionate about new technologies;

• Bilingual both in writing and speaking; • Hold a valid driving license and passport
