Job description
Tasks and Responsibilities
Facilitates high-level discussions pertaining to technology, creation and learning projects to address client and business goals
Manages each of the three phases in the production process: pre-production, production and delivery of the final content or event
Supervises and coordinates a team of graphic artists, digital developers, integrators, quality assurance and other resources
Fosters a creative team environment that remains client focused and while respecting SOPs
Provides value to client projects, by monitoring cost and quality assurance, coaching high performance teams to delivery of a top quality product
Creates and publishes formal methodologies for approaching learning assignments • Provides methodological support, coaching, and training to staff
Collaborates and maintains competitor/industry/sector benchmarking to identify new trends and opportunities
Acts as a subject matter expert to develop winning client-focused solutions and proposal designs that can be transformed into projects
Assists in carrying out various duties as requested by management
Qualifications
Bachelor degree or equivalent in relevant area including: Interactive Arts and Technology, Digital * Technologies Management, Business Administration and Information Systems, etc.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Producer or Project Manager, for new media and/or live events
Minimum of 2 years of management experience with direct reports
Solid understanding of project management methodology, including the ability to identify and resolve issues, mitigate risk and allocate resources effectively
Sound business judgment and a proven ability to influence others
Experience in production of digital or mobile learning solutions: web interface design, video editing, animation, HTML5 programming for mobile delivery
Technical competencies: solid understanding of the technical production pipeline including programming and QA methods and tools.
Familiar with graphic production tools and techniques including Adobe Creative Suite (CS6) and Clickable PDFs
Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-pace environment
Bilingual (English fluency required in both written and oral and French)
Computer skills: MS Office Suite, Adobe Suite, MS-Project or equivalent
