In response to our rapid growth, we are looking for a mechanical engineer / product developer who can contribute to product development, take ownership of product improvement, and participate in various large-scale custom projects to help bolster our design department.

-Responsible for technical development and engineering optimization

-Continuous research and optimization of  products and technology.

-Responsible for technical customer support

-Perform 3D modeling on existing products to improve engineering and cost. 

-Perform 3D modeling of R&D project. - Perform various calculations as required (resistance of materials, etc.). - Mechanical and electrical optimization of assemblies and products already in place.

-Optimization / diversification of the materials used (R&D and products). 

-Assistance and / or technical support.

-Creation and maintenance of list of materials (BOM) for product manufacturing.

-Monitoring of UL and CE certifications of products.

-Participation in the design and / or conception meeting.

-Any other tasks, related to design, engineering and technical support.

-Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering or other relevant academic or technical background.

-Good knowledge and / or good understanding of electricity and UL / CE standard is a strong asset.

-Very good knowledge of Solidworks and Solidworks

- Bilingualism (French and English). - Management experiences an asset. 

-Good communication.

-Autonomous and ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment.

-Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

-Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

-Permanent full-time position;

-Salary of 70-85k depending on experience;

-Group Insurance;

-Flexible hours
