• Implement or supervise the installation, commissioning and operation of electrical/optical/robotic equipment and systems
• Program and troubleshoot equipment with PLCs and operator interfaces (Omron, Schneider, Allen-Bradley and Siemens.)
• Assist in the inspection, start-up, adjustment and evaluation of electrical, electromechanical and electronic components and assemblies to ensure compliance with standards and tolerances
• Know the operation, set parameters and troubleshoot various models of variable frequency drives, soft starters and other power components
• Perform preventive maintenance and occasional repairs on systems
• Drafting of reports, follow-up of guarantees and documentation related to each intervention at our customers.

• Training in electrical engineering (DEP or DEC) or years of experience related to the field of automation and controls
• Mechanical sense (an asset)
• Ability to read blueprints
• Ability to solve problems over the phone
• Available for frequent travel to customers (Canada, United States and overseas)
