Our client is an international leader in his field of expertise. The company specializes in digital imaging products as well as semiconductor products. They invest a lot in research and development and are known for their constant evolution.

The New Product Introduction Specialist is part of the R&D team and reports to the Product Operations Manager. He is responsible for transferring new 3D camera products to manufacturing, respecting all aspects of manufacturability. 

• Work in conjunction with the product development team to create the manufacturing strategy.
• Define the test equipment required for production.
• Establish the camera assembly and calibration workflow.
• Coordinate the purchase of components for the prototypes.
• Participate to the creation of manufacturing instructions and to the test stations deployment.
• Support the manufacturing team during the transfer to production and throughout the product life cycle.

• College degree in electronic, software or manufacturing processes.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in product development or manufacturing processes.
• High attention to detail, systematic and organized.
• Experience in software development tools in C++/C#.
• Ability to communicate in French and English.
• Knowledge of SAP is an asset.
• Has the ability to have a good overview of a situation.
• Has good interpersonal skills and works well in a team.
• Possess excellent communication skills to explain he’s ideas and to be understood clearly.
• Finds and suggests solutions and improvements to the existing tools and processes.
• Is proactive, resourceful and has a good level of autonomy, initiative and creativity in order to react and to take charge quickly of the production.
• Is analytical, rigorous and disciplined in planning and implanting solutions in accordance with the procedures in place.
