The company opened an office in Montreal to provide support in artificial intelligence to all campuses for their teaching, research, and executive education activities.


Job description

The candidate will be responsible for the development of VR applications. He will have to make adaptations to existing VR applications and the co-development of new applications.


Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Implement a light-weight user interface independently without assistance.
  • Setting, explain technical information in simple language, make decisions on game/feature architecture in collaboration with a team of non-technical experts and follow it through to implementation.
  • Give and receive feedback to develop professionally, solve problems and exercise high-level judgement where issues require escalation.
  • Participate and provide expert feedback in projects within the company ecosystem.

Qualifications

  • At least a diploma or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Game Design or related technical field and at least 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency with C++ and/or C# or .net programming and understanding of basic computing data structure (e.g., linked list, tree, array etc.).
  • Experience with
  • working with Unity3D or Unreal Engine.
  • VR development /3D app production.
  • real time networked features (i.e., synchronous multiplayer apps)
  • source control software (e.g., git, DevOps).
