A dynamic global firm in information technology and growing rapidly in their industry, they are looking for an experienced VP of Alliances, with the desire to help take things to the next level. This role encompasses a broad scope –touching all aspects of the business. As a key member of a dynamic executive team, the VP of alliance will play a critical role in providing a strategic and executive leadership regarding all Partners relationships. This includes expanding current relationships and developing new ones. He or she needs to have a strong customer focus and the ability to understand customer needs.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding executive leadership to partners. Proactively foster trusted relationships with our partners and serve as a strategic partner to them. Build on the successful design and delivery of solutions, ensuring the achievement of client objectives.
  • Lead the Partners & Alliances “go-to-market” strategy. Own the partner experience and ensure the consistent delivery of outstanding service. Drive innovation and establish best practices by continuously evolving the capabilities.
  • As the primary lead for ecosystem revenue generation and achievements, ensure company and partner targets are achieved and world-class Partners & Alliances deliverables are fulfilled. Lead contract discussions for both current and future partners.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of a more robust partner engagement strategy.
  • Develop strategic alliances framework, processes, and plan to support lines of business.
  • Research, establish, and develop new strategic alliances and partnerships.
  • Develop and manage governance model and business plan with each partner.
  • Plan and manage messaging, product integration, technology sourcing, and go to market plans with partners.
  • Sustain, manage and cultivate a relationship with partners to foster deeper relationships, explore new opportunities and ensure growth of the relationship.
  • Make public presentations, develop specific content and identify opportunities to populate and animate our ecosystem and communities.
  • Managing branding and communication for the proposed product partnerships.


  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in a related field
  • 8 to 10+ years of experience in technology or HR technology fields, with a substantial portion in sales, marketing, business development, or partnership roles
  • 3+ years in executive Alliance or Partnership roles
  • 4+ years of recent experience in, and knowledge of HR Tech domain
  • Strong communication in English, writing and presentation skills
  • French is an asset
  • Knowledge of HR Tech softwares technology
  • History of developing and leading strategic partnerships
  • Ability to travel (Approximately 10%)
  • Knowledge of HubSpot an asset
  • Entrepreneurial mindset
  • Clear track record of finding and developing business opportunities that lead to growth
  • Strong customer focus and the ability to understand customer needs

Work conditions
