Job description

Reporting to the Vice President Sales, the Territory Manager – Western Canada is responsible for growing the market for company’s security professional advisory and managed security services in the Canadian Prairies, British Columbia, Yukon, and the Northwest Territories.

Tasks and Responsibilities

·       Achieve maximum sales growth, profitability, and account penetration in Western Canada, through effective selling of the company’s Consulting and Managed Security Services offerings to existing and net new accounts

·       Establish, develop, and maintain business relationships with current and prospective customers in the assigned territory to generate new business for Hitachi Systems Security

·       Create and manage territory and account plans in the region, and regularly review progress of deliverables and revenue attainment with the Vice President, Sales

·       Maintain data on customer calls; provide semi-monthly pipeline and activity updates

·       Develop clear and effective written proposals/quotations for current and prospective customers

·       Expedite resolution of customer problems and complaints to the proper security business channel

·       Coordinate sales effort with marketing, sales management, accounting, logistics, and technical service groups

·       Arrange product and service demonstrations for existing/potential customers, where appropriate and required, and assist them in selecting those best suited to their needs

·       Supply Management with verbal and written reports on customer needs, problems, and interests, as well as competitive activities and potential for new products/services

·       Keep abreast of information security services, technology applications, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising, and promotional trends via pertinent literature and consultation with marketing and technical service areas

·       Participate in trade shows and conventions

Qualifications

·       7+ years of strong quota attainment in a direct cybersecurity sales environment, with emphasis on cybersecurity services and solution selling

·       Proven experience in consultative sales and/or value selling to engage and develop new accounts, from business proposals to handling RFPs from customers

·       A closer with a track record of effective negotiation of services contracts in a variety of organizational structures

·       You excel in a high touch sales environment, and can easily navigate and converse at all levels of an organization, while cross-selling and/or upselling solutions and services

·       Minimum undergraduate degree in business administration or marketing with technical certification, i.e. CISM, CISSP, etc.; or minimum undergraduate degree in computer science or related field with certifications in sales or marketing, and technical certifications, i.e. CISM,

CISSP, etc. highly desirable

·       Excellent written and presentation skills, including ability to communicate effectively with senior level executives
