Reporting to the Senior Director, Strategy execution and Risk Management, the Security Officer has the overall responsibility for the operational management of the information security plan and efforts, in alignment with the CISO guidelines and directions. He represents the first line of Defense. He is mainly responsible for determining the company’s technical security requirements, planning onboarding activities and implementing relevant and effective cybersecurity solutions and controls.

·       Discusses designed solutions beforehand with the information security architects to mitigate identified information risk

·       Reports on the status of IT-related information security initiatives and plans

·       Performs periodic information risk assessments and testing of information security practices and countermeasures

·       Works with the Managed Security Services team and the Security Architecture Team to secure all the information collected, stored, or processed by our company.

·       Implementing information security, cybersecurity, and privacy architecture practices design based on the approved security program and strategy of the company

·       Aligning Information security and Privacy technical measures to business needs.

·       Implementing and maintaining up to date security, recovery, and incident responses measures.

·       Accountable for planning and managing the delivery of IT security measures and solutions to support enterprise objectives.

·       Ensures that the IT Security architecture, including Network and Infrastructure security, is aligned with strategical directions, business needs, security, and privacy requirements.

·       Design and implement the approved security and privacy plans, practices, standards plan to improve and enforce existing practices or to create new relevant ones.

·       Ensure and enforce a relevant day-to-day monitoring of the networks and infrastructure security.

·       Assess information security, cybersecurity and IT risk, information security, cybersecurity, and privacy requirements in any IT project, to evaluate the associated risk and define the related requirements accordingly, in compliance with HISYS SEC Security Architecture and Framework.

·       Enhance IT and Architecture Teams accomplishments and competence by planning delivery of solutions; answering technical and procedural questions for less experienced team members; teaching improved processes; mentoring team members.

·       University degree in Computer Science or eq

·       A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in IT Security;

·       Excellent understanding of IT Security controls and Cloud Security Controls;

·       Good experience with TCP/IP protocol and low-level network troubleshooting;

·       Experience with different elements ensuring network security (firewalls, proxies, etc.)

·       Resourceful, analytical and problem-solving skills

·       Excellent written and oral communication skills in English

·       Strong interest and passion in cybersecurity and cloud security

·       Ability to work independently with minimum supervision

·       Unix and Linux Administration background (an asset)

·       CISSP or equivalent certification, CCSK

·       GIAC GCIH or GIAC GCFA would be a plus
