Job description
Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Product support specialist will be responsible for managing technical support with distributors, supporting warranty claims and developing and presenting technical training programs.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Working with our dealer network and customers to provide technical support on Diesel engines ;
- Keep up to date with the industries (marine and industrial) as well as the competitive products ;
- Provide warranty support ;
- Visit dealers, customer and branches when needed to support our product lines ;
- Travel to the US for distributor meetings and trainings (when needed, 5% of traveling) ;
- Build a relationship with our dealer networks technicians and service departments ;
- Develop and provide technical training to technicians and product support representatives (both internally and externally) ;
- Work with our engineering team and sales team to support customers during technical problems or after-sales service ;
- Provide service work for diesel engines (as needed).
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 year of experience in technical support for diesel engine ;
- Technical training in industrial mechanics ;
- Good coaching skills ;
- Bilingual in French and English is required ;
- Valid driver's license is required ;
- Able to work on the road and travel as required.
Work conditions
- Permanent, full-time position ;
- Salary between $80,000 and $90,000, depending on experience ;
