Job description


As part of the Human Resources team, the HRBP is responsible for the coordination of key areas of human resources for their client group including employee relations, recruitment activities, training and development programs, health and safety programs, and coordinating company-wide initiatives. The HRBP will ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations and corporate policies and work closely with the Senior HRBP to ensure alignment of HR initiatives with the global strategy of the company.

Tasks and Responsibilities


  • Assist in planning, coordinating and communicating activities, functions or programs designed to increase employees’ engagement such as company events and activities, recognition programs, surveys, training programs and so forth
  • Assist with recruitment efforts, full cycle, in line with the company’s strategy and recruitment programs and procedures, to attract quality candidates
  • Coach managers in their communication and feedback related to their direct reports
  • In collaboration with technical staff, create and update job descriptions and analyze job requirements for all positions in the organization
  • Review current HR programs and policies and propose solutions, ensuring alignment with the organization's strategy and work with the VP HR to simplify processes and streamline activity to improve end-to-end processes
  • Provide advice and counsel to members of the management team and employees related to application of corporate policies and programs, and applicable employment laws and regulations
  • Support managers in the implementation and execution of employee development strategies and collaborate with them in the execution of their training plan
  • Identify and develop training strategies and plans as well as development paths for employee groups
  • Collaborate in the creation of training content and plan the training schedule
  • Collaborate in the creation of the succession program and the leadership program and participate in their deployment and effectiveness
  • Develop, present and keep track of your budgets

Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, diploma and/or certified training in HR, or other related and relevant field
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as an HR generalist
  • Experience in training/competency development management
  • Experience in the information technology industry
  • Bilingual skills, both written and spoken, in English and French
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills and the ability to communicate and interact with all levels in an organization
  • Proven organizational skills that allow to prioritize tasks effectively, manage time efficiently, multitask, and meet multiple and/or conflicting deadlines
  • Strong ability to build positive, long-term relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Excellent understanding of organizational issues and strong ability to influence
  • Preference for teamwork, with autonomy on multiple projects necessary to achieve objectives in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to generate reports and develop and/or track metrics on a regular basis
  • Advanced skills in the Microsoft suite

Work conditions


  • Permanent position
  • Flexible hours, 37.5 hours/week
  • Mainly remote work with visits to the office (Blainville)
  • Annual salary between $70,000 and $90,000
  • Bonus program between 10% and 15
  • Group insurance plan paid 100% by the company
