Our client's mission is to contribute to the safety of victims of domestic violence and to the reduction of domestic violence and its consequences by offering services to victims, the population and all those affected by domestic violence.

The company is currently looking for a Director of Operations. Under the supervision of the General Manager, in collaboration with the management team, the Director of Operations coordinates, supervises and oversees the operation of the daily activities of the organization. Also, the Director of Operations manages a team, ensures and controls the quality of services offered to the population.

• Supervise, and support employees in the exercise of their functions and tasks;

• Supervise the training of employees of the organization

• Lead and coordinate clinical support according to the organization's preferred approach

• Collaborate in the implementation of the annual planning and the realization of its projects;

• Assess human and material resource needs according to the programs and services offered by the organization

• In collaboration with the management team, support the recruitment, selection, orientation and evaluation of unionized employees;

• Contribute with the management team to the development and improvement of the organization's policies, standards and rules and ensure compliance with them; •

Ensure with the management team, the management of disciplinary and administrative files of unionized employees;

• Together with the management team, represent the employer in its relations with the union;

• Ensure the weekly compilation and analysis of statistical data

• Hold an undergraduate university degree in social work, psychology, victimology or in any other discipline relevant to the functions, the obtaining of which requires a minimum of sixteen years of study;

• In-depth knowledge of the issue of domestic violence and feminist intervention (nice to have);

• Have experience in intervention (at least 10 years);

• Have relevant experience in intervention (clinical supervision) and team management (at least 5 years);

• Experience in a unionized environment (an asset);

• Good knowledge of the Office Suite;

• Excellent communication skills both oral and written in French

• Functional in English

• Great ability to listen, integrate, analyze and synthesize;

• Possess a very strong capacity for judgment and problem solving;

• Able to create through his leadership a common vision in his department
