Reporting to the Director of Purchasing, the buyer will have the opportunity to manage the complete procurement cycle of all raw materials, parts and equipment of the company.

• Respond to the various requests of internal customers in terms of for all sectors of the company;
• Provide fast and efficient service when a department makes a procurement request request for procurement;
• Research alternative sources of supply, products and even new suppliers as needed Search for alternative sources of supply, products and even new suppliers;
• Carry out the complete procurement cycle (quotations, orders, follow-ups, receipts, returns, etc.) Follow-up, reception, return of merchandise, etc...);
• If necessary, negotiate new agreements;
• Ensure that orders respect the deadlines, the price and the quality expected.

• Minimum of a DEC or equivalent experience related to the position;
• A minimum of three (3) years experience in the field of procurement in a manufacturing environment;
• Bilingualism in English and French required;
  
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
• Good customer service, negotiation skills and ability to assess priorities;
• Able to work under pressure and have a rigorous work ethic;
• Open-mindedness, flexibility and good organizational skills;
• Technical knowledge (materials, mechanics, hydraulics, etc.) and ERP software (Epicor/Vantage), an asset;

• Full time permanent position;
