Job description

Under the responsibility of the Business Development Director, the incumbent will be responsible for achieving sales objectives by developing new opportunities, optimizing sales from existing customers and consolidating customer relationships as well as new partnerships while respecting the defined representation budget.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities:

• Meet sales objectives by developing new opportunities;

• Identify prospects related to the sales strategy;

• Initiate and develop relationships with strategic contacts among potential customers;

• Implement client agreements by connecting the various actors at the client and ADUQ;

• Representation in various events:

• Participate in various events and get involved in order to maintain good relations with stakeholders and customers;

• Identify, initiate, develop and maintain the customer relationships necessary to ensure profitable business opportunities;

• Create and maintain good business relationships with community partners;

• Identify events in which ADUQ must participate to increase its network and develop its visibility.

• Optimization of sales and follow-up of customer accounts:

• Is responsible for client liaison;

• Is responsible for handling customer complaints;

• Maintain good contact with the client;

• Must ensure that the documentation provided for the realization of the product clearly defines the technical and contractual needs so as not to leave room for interpretation;

• Must ensure that the internal opening of contracts complies with the purchase order and that the latter complies with the bid relating to the call for tenders;

• Confirm purchase orders and details with the customer;

• Is responsible for reporting to the plant manager the non-conforming parts of the customer and opening the Rework contract in jobboss with the NCR ADUQ in reference;

• Manage the preparation of his sales budget in collaboration with his superior.

• Make deliveries to the customer when necessary. 

• All other related tasks.


• Training or diploma in a related field;

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role;

• Experience in the field of machining (nice to have);

• Basic computer knowledge;

• Functional English;

• Good sense of organization and initiative
